SO excited for this class! This yarn wrapped wreath features lots of easy to make felt flowers and the cutest bunny painted in a soft mint color. The class is on March 1st @ 6pm. If you sign up HERE you can save 10% on the $35 class fee. And the fee inlcudes supplies, so all you need to bring are fabric scissors, pinking shears, and a hot glue gun and glue sticks.
And something else pretty exciting, thanks to Miss Kelli Collins, I'll also be selling spring garlands that coordinate with the wreath the day of class!
Hope to see you there!
<3 Lindsey
This is absolutely adorable!! I'm pinning immediately :)

Thank you Christine!
DeleteThis is so incredibly cute and I love the colors. Unfortunately I live nowhere near to you otherwise I would totally sign up for the class. I am curious though as to where you found those colors of felt? I have never seen cuter colors!
ReplyDeleteOops replied in the wrong section. All the info about the felt is in the comment below : )
DeleteThank you! I got my felt from The Felt Pod on Etsy. The owner, Hue, has amazing wool felt in a bunch of colors. Highly recommend it!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I will have to check it out!
ReplyDeleteDo you remember the colors that you ordered? I wish I lived by you so I could come to your class. I hope I can duplicate it on my own.
ReplyDeleteYep! You'll need one roll each of papaya, peach, and ivory : ) Hope that helps!
DeleteHow much felt is in a roll?
DeleteBy "roll", do you mean the 3-sheet pack of felt that is sold by the Etsy seller?
DeleteBeautiful wreath!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Amy!
DeleteWhere did you find the yarn and the bunny? This wreath is so cute! Just wondering where you live and if you have any wreaths left to make?
ReplyDeleteThank you! I bought the yarn at Joann's and Michael's (both carry it). It's made by Patons. And the bunny I bought from Say Hello shop on Etsy. Not sure if the bunny is in their shop yet or not, but you can message them and ask to buy it. They are super nice over there : ) I won't know for sure if I have any wreaths leftover until my class tonight...I'll let you know if I do! : )
Deletehow many balls of the yarn did you have to use?
ReplyDeleteJust one : )
DeleteLove this!! So your yarn was patons brand but do you remember the name of the color? I went to joanns and couldnt find anything like it.
ReplyDeleteThank you! It's Patons Worsted Wool and the color is call light grey marl #77251. Hope you're able to find it!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! I am going to try to make one similar! What did you use for the base of the wreath? And what size is it? TIA
ReplyDeleteLindsey,
ReplyDeleteI'm so upset. I meant to attend the class to make this adoreable Easter Wreath. I went to your Valentine Wreath class and loved it. Do you happen to have any Easter Wreath kits left over that I could purchase? I sure hope so, thanks!
Leslie

ReplyDeleteI love this! I wish I lived near you to attend the class. Would love to see a tutorial on this! :)
ReplyDeleteI love this wreath, it's absolutely adorable. I also love the colors you chose, so pretty!!! Awesome job!
ReplyDeleteI love how spring is in the air (at least for a lot of people...maybe not those still getting massive amounts of snow). I've been working on a bunch of diy spring projects. I just posted my first one which is a Spring Monogram Wreath. It's super easy to make, takes less than 20 minutes and certainly adds beauty to wherever it's placed. Check it out at: http://thehousecandy.com/spring-monogram-wreath/
I apologize for my photography skills or lack there of...I'm trying though, ugh! I clearly need some pointers. If you have any you want to share, please share them in the comments of this post: http://thehousecandy.com/nikon-j1/
I would certainly appreciate it! Happy Spring everyone! :)
I want to know how to make this! It is so cute! I've been wanting to make a wreath for spring/easter and I think this is the one!!
ReplyDeleteWhich is that exact wreath form you used? I purchased a 12 inch form from Michaels but it wasn't the same.
ReplyDeleteI used a 12" straw wreath (could have been 14" - can't remember), then took 2" strips of batting and wrapped it around the wreath a couple times to "bulk" it up, and then I wrapped it in yarn. Hope that helps!
DeleteI can't get over how cute this wreath is! I so want to try and make one! LOVE it! :)
ReplyDeleteHi there! I'm looking at the Joann website and there are all kinds of Patons yarn... astra, bohemian, pirouette, classic wool... do you recall which it was?
